I wanted this glam look for a ball and it was spot on for my dress. I had ordered this product a week before just to ensure the quality matched. The locs are not super shiny at all.

It does have an initial smell. You will have to wash the bun(s) prior to installing, but it will not have a smell afterwards.

I will say, there was shedding from the hair when it was washed. It may have been from the production process. Other than that, I love this hair and glad that it is super versatile!
